I've got a file that I've been working on for several days and now I can't access it. It's a 3d model done in autocad 2002, the file size is 15.5mb and what happens is I go to open the file and it starts to open, then when it gets to the part where it says loading modeler dll's it just hangs up. I don't know what the problem is since I've never done much modeling in autocad. Now I've got this project going and I can't get my file to open. I did a recover, but that said it didn't find any problems.
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris
Please note I've *moved* this thread from the Hardware (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=36) Forum to this one as I feel this particular Forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.
Thanks, Mike

Hi
When you say AutoCAD "just hangs up" does AutoCAD not load the drawing file regardless how long you leave it running; you have to stop (shut-down) the AutoCAD process?
When "it just hangs up" what does the Memory Usage value report for the acad.exe within the Windows Task Manager -> Processes tab -> Memory Usage value has frozen (not changing) or is still changing?
Have a good one, Mike
