glass not transparent in interior

have a glass enclosure in a bathroom shower
but despite the same material used for glass on exterior windows which is transparent... inside no....

why the rebellion

If you're looking at an elevation view, glass will not be transparent. When you say the exterior glass is transparent, is that in a 3d view, or elevation?

Workaround might be to select the glass shower enclosure, and set its override graphics in view to transparent.
