Try AutoCAD express tools TXTEXP then MKSHAPE
I tried this... I exported a eps file into dwg. Opened this file up in AutoCAD. I wasn't able to select the text after running TXTEXP.
Can you elaborate please

Try exporting a Revit file to DWG, instead of the EPS thingy; Then do the express tools method mentioned earlier.

The font I'm trying to use isn't available in Revit - I do have a ttf file of the font but I believe that Revit uses shx fonts - maybe Im wrong
