View Full Version : R7.0 - Grid Heads flipping

In every R6.1 project that I am opening in R7.0, the grid heads are being flipped over to the other end of the grid line. The grid order is still good, it's just the grid heads.

With over 40 open projects on the go at the moment, I have a bit of work to correct the situation for each project.

...In every R6.0 project...Are you guys noting this version? What happens if you promote the 6.0 file to 6.1 first? Be sure to let support know...

Whoops, my bad, that should have read 6.1.

It's happened on every project without fail.

Chad,

I am responsible for grids in Revit. I will be happy to take a look if you send
me a Revit document with this problem.

Thanks -

Lev

I just got our file back from revit support after they updated it to V7.0, all the grid heads in all view, were originally bubbles at both ends now only at one end.

There is about 200 grid bubbles to tick!! It's really annoying. I've tried select all instances and change the grid type to another which is by default grid bubbles at both end but makes no change. There has to be an easier way and why is it happening?

This is an old post, but I am currently operating in R10, and am having a similar problem - if I use the check boxes to flip the grid heads, when I open the file again after closing out, the grid heads have flipped themselves back. Only the ones (but all of them) that I manually changed, using the check boxes at each end.

Does this happen if the grids are pinned?

cheers.....

I assume you mean Revit 2010, right? We're currently 2 releases beyond 9.1, so technically it would be version 11, but Autodesk isn't using numbered releases anymore.
