Is it possible to generate total areas from several different schedules.
I had filtered 8 schedules all obtained from a color scheme i had set up.
The filter is by department (values of my color scheme).

does this make sense?

Can it be done?

I am trying to have the assigned square feet generated in other to
Calculate the building efficiency.

Or is there a better way to have this done.

no but if you can get them all in the same schedule you can sort them by department which will give you subtotals and an overall total.

If you need them separate to display them on a sheet you can still get things working by tweaking the sort and unchecking itemize every instance. This should give you a short schedule with each department totals on its own line and a grand total.

Be aware that rounding may start to become an issue. Ideally you only want to round once but here you might be rounding several times in different places. Be sure to double check the results manually. You may need to do a few workarounds to get them to matchup.
