Hide objects in multiple views?

I am currently setting up a couple sheets of interior elevations and for the time being would like to turn off or hide the furniture in all the views. So far the only solution I have come across is to activate each view on the sheet and then going to Visibility/Graphics and deselecting "Furniture." This only works for one view at a time - how can I get it to work globally across a sheet or series of sheets? I tried usign a Filter but once again it only applied to the view once it was activated and could only be done one view at a time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would create a workset called Furniture, go to a 3D view, select the entire model, filter the furniture, go to its properties and set it to be on the workset Furniture. Then you can close the workset and your furniture will be gone from all your views. If you need them back, just turn the workset back on.

Other than that, you may try creating and applying view templates to all your views...
