Hello all,

I hope someone out there knows the answer to this.

Periodically when working on my drawings I find that I am unable to type anything into my tables that we use for our Bill of Materials.

Today I was working just fine, building my drawing, typing in the text, and then it decided that I would no longer be able to enter or modify my table.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem? It only happens periodically. If I close down AutoCAD and reopen, it works just fine again.

We are using AutoCAD 2007 w/ CADWorx Plant 2009.

Thanks in advance

Don't know what could be causing the problem, but you could try running a audit.

How is the Bill of Materials produced through the AutoCAD table Command or through the CADwork Plant using AutoCAD.

I have had this problem with regular AutoCAD, with a very long title sheet. Closing AutoCAD and reopening it is the only solution I know of.

Capt. Computer Crasher:

Currently we are creating the BOM wwith just Autocad Tables and updating them as we go. We only are using CADWorx for certain types of drawings.

I tried the audit but apparently the only way that I have found so far is to save the drawing and close down ACAD then reopen and it seems to work. It's only an intermittent problem. (it's just extremly irritating when it occurs)

Thanks to all who answered.
