putting the center line icon on the extension line

have seen the CL icon on extension lines as part of the dim
but don't see where this is done..

all our windows are dimed from center...

In that particular dimension style, click on it, then its properties, then the Edit/New button. Part way down there is a "Centerline Symbol field, and a centerline pattern. Save the style, then whenever the dimension style encounters a reference plane in a family that is set to be a Center type, it will draw the centerline, and put the CL symbol in as well. The Symbol typically comes in just above the tick mark, for that line.
