Autodesk has published new "Recommendations" for a Revit Computer. If you are wanting to do production work in Revit 2010, then I'd take these as a "minimum". That means 8 gig of ram (Ouch in a laptop).

This probably means that the laptop will not be light, either in weight, or on your wallet.
