storefront door....a simple one

i have deleted the original double storefront here.....i need one at each end of wall.....so, i deleted after unpinning the mulls....and i selected the gridline....when selected i hit the "add remove" and touched the grid i need removed....nothing happened the panel is still split so, when i go to place my double door, they are half as wide as they need to be...what am i forgetting...?

After selecting the segment to delete pick a empty location out in the work area. That should complete the command.
