Custom Arc Wall Opening

I am trying to figure out how to create an opening in a curved wall that is not perpendicular to the face of the wall. We are trying to line the opening up with more with a hallway that it leads to. The opening tool doesn’t get me what I want, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to create a void or something that would let me cut an opening through the wall how I want it to be.

I’ve attached a file that includes some detail lines showing how I would like the opening cut, but right now we just have an wall opening in the wall.

Use an In place family, containing only a void extrusion. When you've created the void, be sure to use the Cut geometry tool to tell the void what to cut.

Ahh, thank you very much. So it looks like I have to make sure to use a Wall type in place family as well as Cut the Geometry before I finish the in place family. That was the problem I kept having. I would try to finish the family with only the void and it wouldn't let me do that.
