Does anyone out there work with concrete formwork in their construction industry? I'm trying to figure out how to get Revit Architecture to give me exposed surface areas of areas of columns, beams and slabs. I.e. if a belt beam sits partially inside a floor slab, is there a way to quantify the exposed surface area? Thats the exact area we need for formwork calculations. So this value would be quite helpful.
Any ideas?

I'd also be interested in this. Has anyone actually modeled formwork in Revit on it's own phase?

We have created some modular wall formwork as well as tables with supports and bracing.
I also have a few column forms but we are still working on that. Not hard to make, make the lenght and width parameters instance so they are adjustable on the fly
