Looks Great!
Do me a favor and put this on a sheet with four elevations and see what kind of performace you get.
thanks

I really really like the shadows thing, but it takes FOREVER to print out a drawing, and performance definetly took a hit on it. Love the upgrade, hate the performance....

there is a significant taxation on my system. my Pc slow downs in any operation in revit.
I jus turn the shadows off until printing time. I am happy with the improvement but I miss the performace of revit 6.1

Hi Mr. Zoog,
Which build are you referring to? The one on the CD, or is there a newer one available for download now?
Thanks
Steve

I somehow get the feeling that some of the droogs in this forum have never printed anything but
vanilla vector line output in their workflow. Presumtuous, yes, but I also think it is presumtuous to "expect" new features to perform exactly as other features that differ.
Graphics output in any form is taxing and slow in large format, and very hard to manage in terms of color control, etc...Cad output is lines, lines, and more lines.
If you want true printing performance, rasterize your files and then process them through a RIP.
That is what will speed up your graphic images in large format in a hurry.
@ Wagurto:
That's a pretty house for sure.

I think he's getting at the fact that some of the loudest complainers about some of the 'problems' with Revit 7 come from folks who don't actually use Revit much (or at all). But maybe I'm wrong there.
However printing Vector with shadows on with the latest build seems to work fine for us here... are you having problems with it Mmodernc?

:)
It's a reference to partners in crime, birds of feather, err, buddies, employees...matey's, etc.
Does it come from Russian then?

Originally from Anthony Burgess's 1962 book " Clockwork Orange"
Drughi ( a gang of droogs ) are devoted to ultra violence, which they refer to as "horrorshow". They speak a kind of Russian/ Gypsy / rhyming Brit slang. Droogs are addicted to drugs named drencom, synthemesc and vellocet. The main droog, Alex, only listens to Beethoven.
Doobiedoob, a bit tired maybe, best not to say more. Bedways is rightways now, so best we go homeways and get a bit of spatchka. Right-right?

Yes, well heavily influenced by..
Rather than speaking a formal English, drughi use a vernacular known as Nadsat (the Russian suffix for -teen).
Most of their speech is in recognisable English with Russianate words.
Does it come from Russian then?

Hey gaspadins, dobra outra
Some of the loudest complainers are the people who use the product most and need it to work properly to make a living. They also want to be able to promote it without getting bitten.
So a droog is a Dedicated Revit Owner or Gaspadin
Of course. Clockwork Orange.
In normal Russian, drug stands for friend...

hey, sorry to be gruff. Stressed out lately... we've been moving. which seemed like a good idea at the time, but now that we're in the middle of it, we're wondering why we thought it a good idea. :D
That "little" didn't work. :-P
