Column Below representation

I have a client that is looking to display their columns below the slab..... not just dotted/dashed (outline) but with a dotted "hatch" pattern for columns below, as per attached. I have managed to load a detailed component with a fill pattern, greyed. As per attached.

Mike,

You can achieve what you're going for by making the slab between the two columns transparent. Once you do that you can use a cut pattern for the columns going up, and a surface pattern for the columns below. My attached image shows what the columns will look like.

Will have to try something like that. Their main concern was having the fill pattern dashed, I 'spose I should look at creating a decent fill pattern that will work.
