Cannot adjust level line

Hi
I know it's a simple and basic question, hope you could help anyway.
Why I cannot adjust the one of the ends of the
datum level line in the attached file ?
I can do that only by changing 3d to 2d extent, but it's just
view specific as specified in HELP, once I change it back to 3d,
it will go back to its original position.

Had a quick look at the file and couldn't see anything obvious, as a work around, I deleted it and recreated a new Datum Level at 0.0 it worked fine.

Sorry, can't shed any light on why it was recalcitrant.

To me, solution is sometimes more imporant than reason.

Let's treat it as a contingency.

you can change it after you have changed it from a 3D to a 2D grid/level
