Library Family Update Journal?

In the past we used a Journal File to update our Library to the newest Revit release. I tried using the Journal file we used last year and it opens the first family then it dies (I'm assuming when it tries to save). Anyone have an idea of how to update the journal file to work with 2010? Any other tips on how to upgrade a large library? Thanks.

Why not use the upgrade utility that can be installed out of the Revit Installation screen?
