I am trying to give our client the rough estimate of the construction materials used in the project, including approximate cost. For the most part, material take-offs with formulas and schedules serve the purpose.
My question: is there any way to make Revit calculate the amount of roof trusses and floor joists in the model, without modeling each element?
Roof is a combination of hips and gables with some overframing. Thank you.
