Hard returns with fields

Hi,

I am attempting to link mtext labels placed around the drawing from a common source. I created a multiline attribute to store the data, then tried to use either a plain mtext box or another MLA as the label with a field in it linked to the source. I know I can link the data across sheets by copying the field code directly, but it seems to screw up hard returns. I get the formatting code "\P" instead of the return.

Anyone know a way to either keep the hard returns or work around it?

The only way is to place your field and then assign it a "Defined Width" in the Properties Dialog box under Text. The text will wrap in the defined width but you have no control of where it breaks the line. You can't put in a hard return.
