Schedules - partial halftone?

I working on a door schedule in Revit Arch 2008 that includes existing doors to remain and new doors. We either want the existing door's to have a blank field in door and frame type and material and sizes (which I don't think is possible while also showing the information for the new doors).

Or, we want to show the existing doors half tone. I thought that would be as easy as applying a phase filter that overrides the existing to be gray but no.
