Massing Void

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to phase a void. Example: Have an existing wall in an existing phase and I want to be able to place a void in that wall to create an opening but only for a demo view. Thanks

I would just use the door opening family.

That would work fine and it can be phased.

That makes sense. Would that work for a shape that's similar to the upside down L shape from Tetris?

Yep

Just open the door family, save a new copy with a new name and then edit the void shape, it can be any shape your want and you can make it parametric.
