Linking Table Data to a Block (and Back)

I want to be able to link information I input manually into a table to a block that is located in another sheet. I also want the block to hyperlink back to my table. Is this possible? I tried looking in my sheet set for ADT to steal from a door schedule but it wasn't set-up that way. Any suggestions?

hmm, good question.

I'd like to play around more with the linking of tables from excel, but, that two-way thing only works when you've got a newer version of excel.

I don't know of any way to link that from drawing to drawing, is what I'm trying to say, and my instinct would be to use a table external to autocad. I'd love to hear others' thoughts on this though.
