Session 10 - Part A: Think Green: Getting your head around Ecotect Analysis

Class Description: Integrating Revit and Ecotect - how to complete your building analysis and develop a workflow that allows the transfer of data using formats such as gbxml and dxf. This class will help you better understand the type and complexity of data that Ecotect requires for accurate and efficient building performance simulation. Through a series of live demonstrations, you’ll gain the required knowledge to commence conceptual design within Revit such that the resulting BIM will not require major modification for downstream analysis in Ecotect. Once the model has been imported to Ecotect, we’ll examine techniques for accurate analysis and methods for validating or disproving results.
