Performance and licence compared to ZWCAD

Summary: Why has ZWCAD a such better performance for lower licence fees ?
If the clone can why not Autodesk ?

Description: I tried ZWCAD 2025 today and I was impressed how much faster it is.
Especially switching Layouts in big dwgs and switching from model space to a layout.
I don't understand why a "clone" like ZWCAD can be that much faster than the original.
I understand that AutoCAD must be more expensive if they do all the development work, but the yearly licence fees are incredibly expensive.
In the past you could by AutoCAD and use it several years without problems cause the inovations weren't that big and still aren't. So you could decide by yourself if it was worth to update.
