Converting True Type Fonts to Lines and Arcs:

or even better into polylines that could be stretched or turned into regions that could be welded together or used to trim from other objects. Being able to offset these new objects would be just as nice if they were somehow combined. ie. the inside line of a letter (like an "O" or "A") is considered part of the same object as the outside line. So that when outlining an "O" the inside part would be in-lined by the same offset and the new outline object would be combined as well.
