Programatic equivalent of 3DWALK

Description:

To be able to programmatically control the position, movement and turning of the perspective view similar to the 3DWALK command.

How Used:

The 3Dwalk command is EXCELLENT. Just press the arrows keys and move around. Just drag the mouse and turn around.

It would be nice to be able to programmatic define a position, direction and movement so that the 3D view moves around smoothly like 3DWALK. Maybe it could be a path (like you can in revit) that is followed.

There is dview with cameras and target. But this just displays regenarated images and not an annimation.

PS: Can we have a series of weapons to hold and fire whilst we are moving around?? only joking - but 3DWALK does makes it feel fun again.
