Convert Block With Attribute Text To Block With Ordinary Text (Exploded Or Not)
Folks, is there a way to convert a block with text attribute to regular text?
A handful of times, I tend to have the need to convert a block with text attribute to a regular block
without text attribute. To achieve this, I would have to re-create the block so to have its text
without an attribute. As the CAD manager, I come across such situations.
Is there a function in AutoCAD or a Code I can use to achieve this?
I tried to attach a CAD example but this forum would not let me - don't know why.
Thanks in advance.

The BURST Express Tool command does that exactly. On the Express Tools ribbon tab Blocks panel pick "Explode Attributes".

But then you have to make back into a block.

EXACTLY what I need. Keep finding things I need in Express Tools. I would have to explore the whole functions in there.
Thanks for the info, well appreciated.

Yep, making the block is just (for me) a three-pick-function for me. I have a button in my toolbar for that.
I pick the button, select what I need and hit the enter key.
Thanks all for the help.
