How do I enable the Work Plane-Based Family Setting when creating adaptive components?

Good day everyone I would like to know if there is a way to enable the Work Plane-Based Family Parameter when creating adaptive components in Revit 2014? I recently came across an interesting video by HyunWoo Kim at this link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qigqW...-EPZP8tN#t=203

However when I create a family based on the Generic Model Adaptive Template, I do not see that option in the Family Category and Parameters Options. Is there a way to enable that setting whether by hack or by legitimate means? Thanks!
