Hidden and Dashed Lines

I have a question about Hidden and Dashed Lines in ADT. The Hidden and dashed lines show up as continuous lines, and i've been having problems in this way. the scale factor is at @ 48, is this correct? does anyone know why i can't quite seem to get Hidden and dashed lines in the drawing?

you will want to investigate the differences and impacts of
LTSCALE, and PSLTSCALE
also note that using the metric not the imperial line file
can produce this same unwanted effect.

also u might want to make sure your in 2d wire frame sometimes that might do it.
