Revit Rotation of 3D Section Box - SOLVED (kind of)

One way to accomplish the effect of a 3D Section box rotated in a view other than plan, is to link the model into a new file, rotate the model in an elevation view, and use a regular section box. Since, as it turns out, you can't rotate a linked .RVT model this way, you need first to save it to IFC and then link the IFC file into the new file and then Bind it. It can then be rotated quite freely in three dimensions. ORBIT can then be used to correct the verticals for presentation.
