Re: Pressure Piping System
Additional Options include:
The ability to create PVIs without having to break the horizontal geometry. I see it behaving like a mix of alignments/profiles (except with pipe styles) and structures to break the pipes. (Submitted By: Tim Stalin )
Re: Pressure Piping System
When designing the profile of pressure pipe there should be an option to set the top of pipe a specified distance below a layout or surface profile.
Pressure System Pipe Networks
Summary: I would like to see the ability to have vertical curves on pipes. Also the ability to have multiple segments between pipe fittings.
Description: I would like to use pipes to show waterlines.
How Used: They say that pipes can be used to show waterlines in profile, but it is nearly impossible to use. I would like to see the ability to have vertical curves on pipes. Also the ability to have multiple segments between pipe fittings. For example.... Any measurements would be between valves not where the vertical curve ends.
Feature Affinity: Pipes

Re: Pressure System Pipe Networks
Should add the ability to create a utility profile based on a profile (surface, layout) and user specified cover. As stated by the OP the profile should be able to follow the vertical curves of a layout profile.
Re: Pressure Piping System
I second this wish and all replies!
The wish has been edited. Below are the updated details.
Pressure Piping System
Summary: I would like AutoCAD Civil 3D to have Piping features for Water distrubtion design. Not gravity flow piping but piping under pressure.
Description: I would like AutoCAD Civil 3D to have Piping features for Water distrubtion design. Not gravity flow piping but piping under pressure. From 1/4" Galvanized piping to 90" Steel pipe. Simular to what is available in Autodesk Building Systems with it's 3D capabilities.
Product and Feature: AutoCAD Civil 3D - Pipe Network
