AutoCAD 2008 Delete scale from Annotation Scale list

I realize I can use the command line -scalelistedit to delete scales.

I've been asked to remove the scale 1:1 but it will not delete.

Any ideas how to accomplish this?

On my computer use AutoCAD ADT 2007 it at

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareAutodeskAutoCADR17.0ACAD-5004:409AEC5.0AecBase50Scales

in the computer registry it not save in the drawing

Note: there a entry for each user and the HKEY_CURRENT_USER is a copy of the user that is log on that the time.

2008 moved the scales to the dwg. I don't have 2008 yet, but here is a link to a blog that describes how to do it in C#.

Thanks Ed but I'm really hoping for VBA. I've also seen a .NET solution. I've sent the question to ADN and will post the answer here.
