I'm in AutoCAD 2010 and this DWG to PDF.pc3 driver is still giving me font problems. It works pretty good in that the file size is much smaller and the layer control is a great idea. However, we have random Arial font's being squashed to a dotted line for lack of a better description.
Any ideas...any help?
Check and see if the text/mtext entities being "squashed" have a non-zero "Z" elevation.
Did you try to change "Custom Properties" for "Font Handling" in "DWG to PDF.pc3"?
To do this go to:
PLOT > select "DWG to PDF.pc3" for Printer > select "Properties" button next to it > find and select "Custom Properties" from the list > and then "Custom Properties" button > check "Capture some" and "Edit Font List" > make sure "Arial" is checked > OK > OK > OK.
