Tips & Tricks - Revit Architecture
Hello all!
As your new Tips & Tricks forum manager, I decided to start a thread in an effort to consolidate some of the most new useful T&T that are posted on the Revit forums (this one is specifically for Revit Architecture). If you see something worthy of making this list, feel free to send me a PM with a link and I'll post it here.
Depicting Curtain Walls in Conceptual Design models
This tip is brought to you by Scott Brown in this thread. Some might have heard similar suggestions by Phil Read at one of his legendary AU classes. Simply use a basic wall and apply a material with a surface pattern that represents the mullion spacing desired. This allows you to quickly go through several design iterations and keep your model light and snappy. Once design progresses, you can then change this wall to a curtain wall and locate grids, mullions and panels accordingly.
