Class Description: Autodesk Architectural Desktop Sections and Elevations have gotten steadily more powerful with each release - so why are so few firms tapping their full potential? In this session, we will explore the ins and outs of 2D section elevation creation and usage. We will start with basics like adding section and elevation lines and callouts. We will look at the parameters of the section/elevation line object and its subdivisions. From this we will generate live sections and 2D section/elevation objects. ADT's powerful Material Definitions make generating sections and elevations complete with surface and section hatching a snap! We will learn to manipulate the properties of these materials both before and after the sections and elevations are created. We will look at the Edit-Linework-in-Place functionality And we won't forget callouts! Can you say "give me all four elevations of this building in one step please?" Well with callouts you can!
