Can anybody help? I have a drawing that I have tried to open that was previously okay but now comes up with a message saying it is corrupt . I have tried the recover command but no luck. Any suggestions would be very grateful.

Hi
For starters take a look at the following threads ( and associated links found within )...
Jan '05 - TIPniques: Disaster Recovery
Feb '05 - TIPniques: Disaster Recovery 2
Mar '05 - TIPniques: Disaster Recovery, Part III
Apr '05 - TIPniques: Disaster Recovery w/ 2006
If still no joy after working through the above, try posting the drawing file here; someone may have some luck with Opening / Recovering it for you.
Have a good one, Mike
Looked at those articles Mike, but no joy. I will post the drawing and see if thre is any success.
Hi
No joy at this end I am afraid.
I have tried to Open / Recover the drawing file attached to above post, in AutoCAD 2002 & 2005.
You might want to check out the links found in the following couple of posts...

It will not not load or attach for a query with MAP 2006 either. It will start to recover with numerous errors, but stalls part way when it hits a certain block entity.
Just for info - it won't open in Intellicad 2001 either.
