Rotating Model for Measuring

I have a model with multiple nwc files exported from Revit. The model orientation is true north which I was fine with. However, when I need to take a measurement the x and y dimensions aren't parallel to my grids that I would like to see my x and y dimensions in. What is the best way to get the measurements to report in alignment with my grids for the project (project north is rotated 42.22 degrees)? I tried to rotate the model using transform to get the grids aligned to the view cube, but all the viewpoints I have set up do not move when I do that and I need those viewpoints.
