Creating hydraulic hoses

I've been tasked with researching into using Inventor to create hydraulic hose models and drawings in Inventor. This would include creating layouts and testing assemblies for possible pinch points, proper clamping locations, and acquiring hose length. The modeling seems straight forward, as long as you set up styles for the different hose sizes first. I have several questions:
1) Is it best to model each individual hose as its own run?
2) Can you then create drawings for these hoses?
3) How can you get an accurate length from the model (including ends)?
4) Will the hoses remain attached and flexible as you put the entire assembly its placed in through it's range of motion?
5) We have instances where the same hose part number is used in several locations in the same assembly, some of which remain flat some need to change shape. Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

I have found that creating styles for each hose OD is beneficial. Is there a way to save these styles so that you automatically start with them? I currently export them from one and import them into the next. I'm still searching for answers for the previous questions.
