Pipe Slope Tag

I am new to AUGI but have been using Autocad for almost 10 years and consider myself a power-user. My current obsession is with Autocad MEP, which my firm is moving towards, and the lack of a tag to give me BOP from the point on the pipe that I select. It should be possible to create such a tag seeing as I can ID a node @ any point along the pipe! The problem I see in the style manager is that autocad does not open that data up to us. I was wondering if anyone else has had any luck with this.
