Custom Places in Revit browser dialogs

Hello all,
I created a custom Place in Revit Options that points to all of our company Revit resources, and pushed the folder location to all my users via a Revit.ini file. I would like to also drive the order in which the places are displayed in the Revit Browser dialogs, but have been unable to find out how to accomplish this.

I have found in the registry where the item order can be changed, but I would rather not force this through the registry the way it is set up because if a user has custom places set, I would not want to delete their items. I would just like to put the custom place I created at the top of the list before all the typical Windows and BIM 360 items.

Does anyone have any ideas on how the places order can be controlled? Also looking to push the order to all my company's instances of Revit.
