Autocad Civil 3D Displaying surface elevations between a range
Hi,
I have a surface with elevations that are coloured. I would like to display only elevations between a certain range e.g 210m - 230m, and not display any elevation outside of this range. I will be displaying an aerial image underneath the elevations and I want it to show through where the elevations do not match this range.
Is anyone able to point me to the best solution please?
Thank you in advance

Select the surface and choose Surface Properties from the right click menu. Go to the Analysis tab of the properties. Set the analysis type to Elevation and the number of ranges to 1. Press the downward pointing arrow just below the number of ranges to to enter that range into the Range Details below. The elevation range will default to cover the entire elevation range of the surface however it can be edited to whatever you want in the Range Details area.
If you chose more than one elevation range the elevation ranges would default to be divided evenly across the entire elevation range of the surface. You can edit those ranges to whatever you want. The ranges aren't required to cover the entire elevation range nor are the ranges required to be consecutive.
Be sure to have Elevations set to display in your surface style.
