Fatal Error: unhandled access violation reading 0x0010 exception at 78305c42h

Hey,

On trying to open certain dwg files just as the drawing gets to 100% I am receiving this error message and acad shuts down automatically...

Seem to be the drawings which contain external data tables from excel, am working with 2008... other pcs seem to be able to open the same drawings with no problems so can't understand why mine won't...

Have searched forum and read a few threads with related topics but none seemed to be answered so thought I would try again...
