Fatal Error when inserting a block
I am getting the following message when I attempt to insert a block. "FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x8599be80 Exception at 332fa55eh". After this error, our course, my autocad session shuts down. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Re: Fatal Error when inserting a block
RECOVER or AUDIT the drawing first and if that doesn't work, you may have blocks referencing themselves in the block you're trying to insert. Actually... the first thing I ALWAYS do is get out of AutoCAD and get back in.

Recover/Purge/ all drawings:
1. the drawing your in
2. The block your inserting.
3. Any xrefs attached to the drawing
