BIM360/Collaboration for revit
Was wondering how you change where revit saves it's cache/temp files? Currently it's in C:\Users\Michael\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit 2018\CollaborationCache currently and is eating up all my c drive space. Wanted to change to my d drive that has more space to use. Also if thats not possible how do I clean up that folder as it's currently 20gb plus and each project i add to bim360/c4r i'll run out of space quickly.
Using revit versions 2016-2018 if that is needed for reference.
Thanks

have read that one, thing that worried me was at bottom about data loss/corruption so was hoping there was a way less problematic then that.
Re: BIM360/Collaboration for revit
Easiest way to clean that up is simply delete the files. We typically try to get people to do that about once a month or so. It'll take longer to open the file, but is something you need to do.
We've also set the local file location for non BIM360 projects to a specific folder and we have a script that runs to delete anything more than 30 days old I believe.
We've also seen those go corrupt from time to time. If the file hasn't been accessed by someone in a few weeks on an active project, it' might just be better to download the whole thing anyway. When we see errors upon opening, that's one of the first trouble shooting things we do. Delete the local files for the project and have them start fresh. That seems to fix most things.
