Attaching a door plan swing to the door leaf?
How do I lock the plan swing arc to the door leaf's solid geometry? I have created a door with a hollow metal frame for use in masonry walls, and I set up an offset parameter that will move the door and frame to different positions within the wall's thickness. The frame and open leaf symbolic lines move just fine when I change the offset parameter, but the swing arc doesn't move. I need to somehow attach or lock the arc's center point to the corner of the door leaf (either the solid geometry or the open leaf's symbolic lines, doesn't matter).
I should add that the single door w/ HM frame that I created works fine, but this double door family won't move the arc correctly as I described.

Nice door!
I was able to get it to work by offsetting the door....6" then using the align tool to lock the swing to the end if the door.
Where is the frame offset Parameter hidden?

Well I was trying to align the swing to the door leaf, but how do you align an arc to a straight object?

He was describing picking the face of the door solid first, then the "endpoint" of the ARC. You should see the swing move down to the face, then lock. You'd need to do this to the other arc as well.
Alternatively you could just add a dimension from the face of the solid to the endpoint of the arc and lock that, after setting the value to zero if not already. When I did it last night, for grins, it constrained both arcs at the same time, fwiw.
