MTEXT Border and transparency
Summary: Dynamic mtext border and background transparency
Description: Enclosing MTEXT with object should be integrated into the mtext command such that the border will size dynamically as the mtext size changes. Similarly, the background mask needs the added functionality of transparency.
This options should be available to be turned on/off as a default as required.

I agree.
There are times when the text associated with Leaders or Dimensions obscures entities underneath (with an opaque mask) or, when they overlap (no mask) it makes other elements of a drawing hard to discern.
Re: MTEXT Border and transparency
I also agree. The only comment I have, is that if you are using any kind of drawing standards, text and dimensions should never placed over geometry unless absolutely necessary.
