Trouble finding Robot files with data

I am running Robot version 2017. In the tutorials it lists certain files in the C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Examples\Tutorials path that you can call up to use when following the tutorials. I see the files but when I do this, they are all empty files. In other words I see no objects (Bars, Nodes, Supports, etc) shown. Why?
