Wind on Towers- TIA/EIA 222-F
I have drawn a 200'ish tower in Autocad 2010, saved as dxf. imported into RSA 2010 pro.
it has an equilateral triangle base. and the 3 base legs are pinned. i asigned member types and materials. i made load types and cases. so why cat i use the wind on towers tool (it is grayed out on toolbars and dropdown menus). did i miss something?
Thanks
Re: Wind on Towers- TIA/EIA 222-F
You need to set an appropriate wind code in Job Preferences, e.g. EIA/TIA-222-F code. Did you do that?

Use ‘Member verification’ in the Steel/Aluminium Design module.
