I have tried to change the text color to 255,255,255 and to no success. How do I make the text label white without going over to PhotoShop? Thanks!

Hi Sonnet
Which Autodesk product (and version) are you wanting to accomplish this task in?
Please let me know, so I my move this thread to the most relevant Autodesk product forum offered here on AUGI.
Thanks Mike

If you're using Raster Design, you can use the palette manager to change colors in images.

Have you tried using a VERY LIGHT grey? Something like 252,252,252? Visually the difference can not been seen, but to the computer it isn't white.

I've never been able to figure out why, but sometimes AutoCAD is just fine with 255,255,255, and sometimes it changes it to color 255. That would be OK, but sometimes color 255 magically changes to 179,179,179. Go figure.
Dilbert is right, though - a tiny change from 255,255,255 will make it work just fine. I use 254,254,254 regularly.

Hi everyone, thanks for the quick reply. I changed the color to 254,254,254 and it was printed out as very light grey. I guess this will be the best we can do! Thanks for all your help.
P.S. I am using AutoCAD 2005.
