Is all of Map 3D 2020 included in Civil 3D 2020? In other words, are there specific tools in Map 3D that are not included in Civil 3D?
I don't have C3D, but I've always heard that C3D is built on top of Map 3D.
What Ed said, however I have found that not all of the UI is there, at least right OOTB.
Never explored too far with it, but I seem to recall trying a MAP tutorial (in C3D) years ago, and the could not follow along due to the missing UI elements.
AFAIK the commands are all there, you just may have to execute them from the command line.
Update - management now has a subscription to both Map 3D 2020 and CD3 2020. If I something in Map that is not accessible in CD3 I will post it.
Thanks. In Civil 3D 2019 it appeared I was missing some of the Map 3D UI I was used to seeing in older versions. The goal is to only ask for the next install of Civil 3D from management and not both Map and Civil 3D.
