Mirror anomalies

It happens to me on a regular base, that mirroring inplace families is breaking my knees. Attached, you'll find an example where an mirrored kitchen decided to have its own interpretation of math.

Is this a revit bug or am I the bug? Who can tell / explain me? Help!

I would try making them loadable families instead. You might have better luck.

I agree that normal families are much more stable than their inplace brothers and sisters. Actually, I really would like regular and inplace families behaving / being the same.

I'm just still wondering if there might be some magic trick to get those inplace families right. Is there?
